San Eustaquio es una isla que forma parte del archipiélago de las islas de Barlovento, que a su vez forman parte de las Antillas Menores, posee 21 km² y una población de 3800 habitantes según estimaciones de 2016.[1] La capital regional es Oranjestad.
Es un municipio especial de los Países Bajos desde el 10 de octubre de 2010. Formó parte de las Antillas Neerlandesas hasta su disolución el 10 de octubre de 2010. Desde entonces cuenta con el estatus de “comunidad de interés particular” de los Países Bajos.[2]
