El Hauser Kaibling, con sus 2015 metros, es la montaña más alta del área esquiable de Schladming 4-Berge. Al pie de la montaña, que se encuentra entre Planai y Galsterbergalm, se encuentra el municipio de Haus im Ennstal.
En el Campeonato Mundial de Esquí Alpino de 1982 se llevaron a cabo las pruebas de descenso, slalom y combinación de damas en el Hauser Kaibling.
