El castillo de Itter es una magnífica construcción del siglo XIX en Itter, en el Brixental, en el Tirol del Norte. A través de la batalla por el castillo de Itter el 5 de mayo de 1945, en la que soldados del ejército de EE. UU. y de la Wehrmacht, que se habían unido a la resistencia austríaca, lucharon contra miembros de las Waffen-SS, también ha alcanzado notoriedad histórica.
