La fortaleza Schlosskopf, anteriormente conocida como fortaleza Schloßkopf, se encuentra a una altura de aproximadamente 1250 m sobre el castillo Ehrenberg y el mercado Reutte en el Außerfern en Tirol. El castillo y la fortaleza forman, junto con la klause asociada y el Fuerte Claudia, uno de los conjuntos fortificados más significativos de Europa Central.
La montaña Schlossberg se eleva unos 150 metros por encima del cercano castillo Ehrenberg. El castillo pudo ser atacado desde la meseta de la montaña, lo que de hecho ocurrió en 1703, cuando los tiroleses reconquistaron el castillo de los bávaros, transportando los agricultores del Außerfern artillería pesada desde Weißenbach a lo largo de kilómetros por la cresta de la montaña y atacando su propio castillo.
