Wald, una aldea a la entrada del Valle de Pitztal, es una localidad del municipio de Arzl en Pitztal en el distrito de Imst, Tirol, Austria. Actualmente cuenta con 593 habitantes y se encuentra a 890 m sobre el nivel del mar. Wald se sitúa en la desembocadura del Valle de Pitztal en el Valle del Inn, al pie del Leiner Kögeles. Alrededor del año 1000 se construyeron las primeras granjas en esta área, llamadas "Schwaighöfe", que en ese entonces debían pagar tributos a un conde o al monasterio de Stams. Una pequeña parte del pueblo llamada Schwaighof todavía recuerda a este período. En el año 1640 ya había 54 casas habitadas en Wald, actualmente son aproximadamente 150.
