El Fagge nace del Gepatschferner al sureste de la Weißseespitze, atraviesa el Kaunertal en dirección norte y luego en dirección oeste, y desemboca en el Inn a una altura de 859 m en Prutz. Tiene una longitud de aproximadamente 31 km. En el curso superior se ha creado el embalse de Gepatsch, que se alimenta del Faggenbach y sus afluentes, así como a través de transferencias de arroyos de montaña de valles cercanos. El agua se conduce a la casa de fuerza en Prutz a través de una tubería de presión de 13,2 km de longitud.
