La sierra sureste es la terraza del valle del Inn inferior en Innsbruck y Hall en Tirol. Representa aquella parte de la sierra tirolesa que se encuentra al pie del Patscherkofel y Glungezer. También forma una asociación planificadora del Estado de Tirol. La sierra sureste es el hombro de la sierra Tux entre el Wipptal al oeste y el Voldertal al este y se extiende con un ancho de alrededor de 2 kilómetros a lo largo de unos 15 kilómetros de longitud. Se encuentra en un rango de altitud de aproximadamente 800 a 1000 m, lo que significa que está aproximadamente de 250 a 450 m sobre el valle del Inn. La característica de terraza también continúa al sur en el Wipptal hasta Ellbögen. Al oeste del Wipptal se une la sierra oeste, mientras que al este la ladera del valle con la terraza de Gnadenwald cambia de lado del valle como parte de la sierra norte.
