Junto a la segunda Casa de los Corenmeters se encuentra la Casa de Peaje. Durante mucho tiempo, esta fue la oficina de los ‘stapelheren’, que recaudaban los impuestos con responsabilidad y supervisaban el derecho de almacenaje. Oficialmente, esta casa de duendes data del siglo XVII, pero probablemente es más antigua, ya que ya en el siglo XIII se mencionaba una casa de peaje en la Graslei.
