La estación de metro Erasmus se caracteriza por una arquitectura notable. El diseño del arquitecto belga Philippe Samyn consiste en un andén de isla situado en el medio de la carretera Lenniksebaan, cubierto por una lona de plástico. El techo descansa sobre los portales laterales y forma once caballetes completos y dos medios caballetes. Se puede acceder al andén a través de túneles en ambos extremos de la estación. La estación es el punto final suroeste de la línea 5.
