La stazione della metropolitana Erasmus si distingue per la sua architettura notevole. Il progetto dell'architetto belga Philippe Samyn consiste in una banchina-isola situata nella corsia centrale della Lenniksebaan, coperta da un telo di plastica. Il tetto poggia sui portali laterali e forma undici archi completi e due mezze arcate. La banchina è accessibile tramite tunnel a entrambe le estremità della stazione. La stazione è il punto finale sud-ovest della linea 5.
