Para el gran complejo de Lozerbos, Aminal, VLM, el municipio de Kruishoutem, otras administraciones y el propietario del bosque elaboraron medidas para hacer posible diversas formas de recreación y gestionarlas adecuadamente. Cada tipo de recreante (ciclista, peatón, jinete) tiene su propio recorrido. Al mismo tiempo, las zonas más valiosas del bosque se protegen de la presión recreativa.
