El Beguinaje en Kortrijk fue fundado en 1238 por Juana de Constantinopla. El bien conservado barrio medieval es una combinación de un beguinaje de plaza y un beguinaje de calle. Desde el 2 de diciembre de 1998, el beguinaje de Kortrijk forma parte del patrimonio mundial cultural y natural de la UNESCO como parte de la inscripción colectiva de los beguinajes flamencos.
