El canal del Centro es un canal de navegación en Bélgica, que, con otros canales, une los cursos del río Mosa con el Escalda. Tiene un total de 20,9 km de longitud. Conecta el lago artificial Grand Large, cerca de Nimy, con el canal Bruselas-Charleroi, cerca de Seneffe.
El canal comienza al oeste del país, en Mons, y atraviesa las ciudades de Nimy, Obour, Ville-sur-Haine y Thieu. Esta sección tiene 15 km de longitud y tiene un altura de 23,26 m. El canal se eleva a través de seis esclusas. Hay cinco esclusas con un altura de 4,2 m respectivamente, y una final de 2,26 m en Thieu[1]
