Kemzeke es una aldea en el municipio belga de Stekene en la provincia de Flandes Oriental. Hasta 1977, fue un municipio independiente. Se encuentra entre la frontera holandesa y Sint-Niklaas. En 1117, la parroquia de Kemzeke se independizó de Waasmunster. Alrededor de 1630, se construyó la fortaleza de Sint-Jan cerca de Kemzeke como parte de la línea defensiva entre la República Holandesa y los Países Bajos Españoles. La fortaleza nunca fue conquistada, pero se dejó deteriorar, y más tarde fue disectada por una carretera durante el período austriaco. En 1977, el municipio se fusionó con Stekene, excepto por el caserío de 't Hol que pasó a formar parte de Sint-Gillis-Waas. El antiguo municipio cubría un área de 11.67 kilómetros cuadrados.
