Kemzeke è un villaggio nel comune belga di Stekene, nella provincia delle Fiandre Orientali. Fino al 1977, era un comune indipendente. Si trova tra il confine olandese e Sint-Niklaas. Nel 1117, la parrocchia di Kemzeke divenne indipendente da Waasmunster. Intorno al 1630, fu costruita la fortezza di Sint-Jan vicino a Kemzeke come parte della linea difensiva tra la Repubblica Olandese e i Paesi Bassi spagnoli. La fortezza non fu mai conquistata, ma fu lasciata deteriorare e successivamente dissezionata da una strada durante il periodo austriaco. Nel 1977, il comune si unì a Stekene ad eccezione del borgo di 't Hol, che divenne parte di Sint-Gillis-Waas. Il precedente comune copriva un'area di 11,67 chilometri quadrati.
