Baisy-Thy es un lugar en la provincia belga de Brabante Valón y un municipio de Genepín. Baisy-Thy se encuentra a más de dos kilómetros al sureste del centro de la ciudad de Genepín.
Algunas fuentes afirman que Godofredo de Bouillón nació en el castillo de Baisy en 1060. La señoría de Thy era propiedad del conde de Bolonia-sur-Mer. Ida de Verdun, la madre de Godofredo, donó esta finca al capítulo de la abadía de Nivelles.
