Baisy-Thy ist ein Ort in der belgischen Provinz Waals-Brabant und ein Teilgemeinde von Genepiën. Baisy-Thy liegt etwa zwei Kilometer südöstlich des Stadtzentrums von Genepiën.
Einigen Quellen zufolge wurde Gottfried von Bouillon 1060 auf der Burg von Baisy geboren. Die Herrschaft Thy gehörte dem Grafen von Boulogne-sur-Mer. Ida von Verdun, die Mutter von Gottfried, schenkte dieses Gut dem Kapitel der Abtei Nivelles.
