La calle Koningsdonk es un camino empedrado tradicional que trae una atmósfera de París-Roubaix a Gentbrugge. La calle Koningsdonk te llevaba al (ahora desaparecido) ferry que cruzaba el Escalda. Aún puedes ver el hermoso edificio al final de la calle, ahora un restaurante, desde donde puedes contemplar el Escalda, donde solía estar el ferry. En el tiempo en que todavía se realizaba la travesía, la calle Koningsdonk era una ruta de comunicación importante entre Heusden y Gentbrugge.
