El Gratiebossen es un bosque en los municipios belgas de Berlare y Zele. Se encuentra al noreste del bosque de Berlarebroek, al oeste del desarrollo lineal de Kamershoek y al sur de la Gentsesteenweg. Hasta el siglo XVIII, era un gran y extenso bosque, desde Kouter en Zele hasta Overmere. Los habitantes más famosos del Gratiebossen eran la banda de Jan Praet, que durante el día eran vendedores puerta a puerta y por la noche perpetraban asaltos en casas donde habían estado durante el día. También asaltaban a los transeúntes en el bosque. El nombre del bosque, según la tradición, data de este período; los ladrones despojaban a los transeúntes sin piedad.
