parada 2: Supuesto "Castillo Grenier". Castillo ubicado al fondo, plantado en el borde de Hofkouter y la ladera este del Escalda, en la llamada Warande de los señores de Gavere. Enorme parque circundante que desciende hacia el Escalda con varios estanques de pesca, antiguos establos, granja y casa de jardineros. Entrada actual con un largo camino doble recto desde la calle Molen, construido en 1907 bajo la dirección del paisajista Gallopain, donde también se trasladó la puerta de acceso original de la casa de jardineros a la calle. Desde 1952 dominio militar.
