arrêt 2 : Surnommé "Château Grenier". Château situé au fond, implanté à la lisière de la Hofkouter et sur la pente est de l'Escaut, dans la soi-disant Warande des seigneurs de Gavere. Vaste parc environnant descendant vers l'Escaut avec différents étangs de pêche, anciennes écuries, ferme et maison de jardinier. Entrée actuelle avec longue allée double rectiligne depuis la Rue du Moulin, aménagée en 1907 sous la direction de l'architecte paysagiste Gallopain et lors de laquelle l'original portail d'accès a également été déplacé de la maison du jardinier vers la rue. Domaine militaire depuis 1952.
