Ya en el 9000 a.C. los pescadores y cazadores descendieron a Harelbeke. En el Museo Arqueológico harás un fascinante viaje a través del tiempo, desde la Edad de Piedra hasta el siglo XVIII. A través de la Edad del Bronce y la temprana Edad de Hierro llegarás al período romano. Los asentamientos que existieron entonces en Harelbeke debieron ser muy importantes. En resumen, una historia educativa y hermosa sobre cómo vivieron nuestros antepasados.
