Esta ruta de senderismo (5,5 km o 7,2 km) sitúa el paisaje llano de la polders alrededor de Lissewege en el centro. Partiendo del centro de visitantes local, primero se visita el pintoresco centro del pueblo. Caminos tranquilos y libres de tráfico te llevan al canal Boudewijn, que conecta Brujas con el puerto de Zeebrugge. Las orillas densamente vegetadas de esta vía fluvial de 70 m de ancho albergan una gran cantidad de especies de aves. A continuación, se camina hacia la antigua abadía de Ter Doest. Caminos rurales con hermosas vistas sobre los vastos prados de la polders forman los principales ingredientes del camino de regreso. A través de la pequeña embarcación de Lissewege se vuelve a alcanzar el punto de partida.
