El castillo-granja de Fernelmont es un vasto cuadrilátero rodeado de amplias zanjas húmedas.
De la época medieval solo queda el imponente donjon-pórtico erigido alrededor de 1300. Se trata de una masa de caliza perforada por un portal de arco central flanqueado por dos salientes hemisféricos.
El acondicionamiento interior de este donjon ha conservado un equipamiento de calidad hecho de letrinas, nichos, lavabos de pared, ventanas con asientos, dos chimeneas y, sobre todo, un interesante azulejo compuesto de pequeños azulejos de terracota vidriada.
El resto del castillo, de ladrillo, data del siglo XVI y la galería toscana de 1621. Desde 1986, una asociación le ha devuelto la vida.
