Humbeek es una aldea en la provincia belga de Brabante Flamenco y una localidad del municipio de Grimbergen. El santo patrón de Humbeek es San Rumoldo. La mención más antigua de Humbeek data de 980. Humbeek era en el siglo X un dominio del obispo Notger de Lieja, quien lo dotó con el capítulo de Malinas. En 1268, Gillis Berthout se nombró señor de Humbeek. En 1313, Florent Berthout vendió su feudo de Humbeek a Daniel de Boechout. Hasta 1606, los Boechout gobernaron allí. Desde 1644 hasta 1763, la familia normanda Lecocq mantuvo el poder en sus manos. Durante este período, Humbeek fue elevado a condado.
