Beauvoorde fue un municipio belga independiente entre el 1 de enero de 1970 y el 31 de diciembre de 1976. Beauvoorde tenía una superficie de 14,64 km² y contaba con 760 habitantes en el momento de su disolución a finales de 1976. El municipio de Beauvoorde fue una fusión de los pueblos Vinkem y Wulveringem, que están situados muy cerca uno del otro. Ambos pueblos, que desde 1968 forman una sola parroquia, constituyen un núcleo habitacional continuo, con dos iglesias, de las cuales la de Wulveringem se utiliza como iglesia parroquial y la de Vinkem como espacio de exhibición.
