Al final del Antiguo Régimen, Framont se convirtió en un municipio, del cual también formaba parte Anloy. En 1823, Anloy se convirtió en la localidad principal del municipio, que se llamó Anloy. Debido a que el pueblo de Framont estaba a seis kilómetros de Anloy, Framont se separó en 1862 como un municipio independiente.
