Alla fine dell'Ancien Régime, Framont divenne un comune, di cui faceva parte anche Anloy. Nel 1823, Anloy divenne il capoluogo del comune, che prese il nome di Anloy. Poiché il villaggio di Framont si trovava a sei chilometri da Anloy, Framont si staccò nel 1862 come comune indipendente.
