Tavier es un lugar y una subcomuna del municipio belga de Anthisnes. Tavier se encuentra en la provincia de Lieja y fue un municipio independiente hasta el 1 de enero de 1977. Hasta la abolición del ducado de Limburgo, Tavier pertenecía a la alta corte limburgués de Sprimont. Al igual que el resto del ducado, Tavier fue incorporado al departamento de Ourthe, que se formó en 1795 tras la anexión de los Países Bajos del Sur por la República Francesa.
