Adegem es una aldea en la provincia belga de East Flanders y una parroquia de Maldegem. Se encuentra en la región de Meetjesland y fue un municipio independiente hasta finales de 1976. Adegem tiene una superficie de 27,70 km² y contaba a finales de 2007 con 5976 habitantes. El nombre local es Oigem. Adegem es una de las aldeas más antiguas de East Flanders. Numerosos lugares de hallazgos de la prehistoria demuestran que Adegem ha estado habitada desde la Edad del Bronce. Gracias a la tecnología de la fotografía aérea, se encontraron 42 estructuras circulares en diecinueve lugares diferentes.
