Adegem è un villaggio nella provincia belga di Fiandra Orientale ed è una frazione di Maldegem. Si trova nella regione del Meetjesland ed era un comune indipendente fino alla fine del 1976. Adegem ha una superficie di 27,70 km² e contava alla fine del 2007 5976 abitanti. Il nome locale è Oigem. Adegem è uno dei villaggi più antichi della Fiandra Orientale. Numerous siti preistorici dimostrano che Adegem è abitato fin dall'età del bronzo. Grazie alla tecnologia della fotografia aerea, sono state trovate 42 strutture circolari in diciannove località diverse.
