El edificio fue protegido en 2001 y ahora sirve como oficina de turismo y centro de visitantes con exposiciones temporales.
Este antiguo edificio de correos fue construido en 1926 en un sobrio estilo ecléctico diseñado por el arquitecto M. de la Croix. Se destaca por su planta baja elevada: por encima del nivel de la calle se pueden ver las aberturas del sótano. En el balcón redondeado de la esquina todavía está presente la trompeta de correos.
También las inscripciones en la entrada pública y de servicio y la presencia de un reloj y buzones aún delatan el antiguo destino de este edificio. En la planta baja se encontraba la oficina de correos, el jefe de correos vivía sobre su trabajo, en el primer piso.
