El Bourlaschouwburg es un teatro en el barrio de Teatro en el centro de Amberes con aproximadamente 900 asientos. El edificio fue construido en estilo neoclásico en el lugar del antiguo Tapissierspand.
El teatro fue diseñado por encargo de la ciudad en 1827 por el arquitecto municipal Pierre Bruno Bourla. La construcción comenzó en 1829, pero se retrasó debido a la Revolución Belga. El taller parisino de Humanité René Philastre y Charles-Antoine Cambon recibió el encargo de la decoración del interior y de la construcción de la maquinaria teatral. Finalmente, el teatro fue completado en 1834 y se inauguró el 1 de septiembre de ese año bajo el nombre de Grand Théâtre o Théâtre Royal Français, en honor a la compañía de habla francesa que actuaba allí.
