El Klein Kasteeltje es un edificio en la capital belga, Bruselas, en el barrio "De Kaaien", situado en el antiguo puerto del Canal de Bruselas-Escalda. Su nombre proviene de la gran mansión del siglo XVI que estaba rodeada de agua. Originalmente, en la 'inauguración' en 1853, el edificio era un cuartel de granaderos y carabineros. Estaba en la periferia de Bruselas, estratégicamente orientado hacia Sint-Jans-Molenbeek al otro lado del canal, donde había una zona industrial. Los militares podían ser desplegados ante disturbios sociales. Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el edificio fue utilizado como centro de internamiento donde se encerraba a colaboradores. En 1948, también se alojó temporalmente a mineros de Italia, Polonia,... para su repatriación.
