El arroyo Vogelzangbeek forma la separación entre Anderlecht en la Región de Bruselas y Sint-Pieters-Leeuw en la Región Flamenca. El curso de agua nace en la Meseta de Vlezenbeek y desemboca 9 km más adelante en el Zuunbeek, un afluente del Zenne.
El arroyo es uno de los pocos que nunca ha sido rectificado. Solo eso lo convierte en de gran importancia para la calidad ecológica y paisajística. Aquí puedes ver cómo es un curso de agua no normalizado. No es evidente en la tierra flamenca y qué contraste con, por ejemplo, el Zuunbeek.
