De Vogelzangbeek vormt de scheiding tussen Anderlecht in het Brussels Gewest en Sint-Pieters-Leeuw in het Vlaams Gewest. De waterloop ontspringt op het Plateau van Vlezenbeek en mondt 9 km verderop uit in de Zuunbeek, zijrivier van de Zenne.
De beek is een van de weinige die nooit is rechtgetrokken? Alleen al dat maakt haar van groot belang voor de ecologische en landschapskwaliteit. Hier kan je zien hoe een niet-genormaliseerde waterloop er uitziet. Niet evident in het Vlaamse land en wat een contrast met bijvoorbeeld de Zuunbeek.
