Este arboreto fue plantado en 1937 por Robert Lenoir, un apasionado dendrólogo. Se considera el principal en Valonia gracias a la diversidad y a la rareza de las especies y variedades. La colección cuenta actualmente con 4.200 plantas procedentes de todo el mundo. La finca de 40 ha se extiende a lo largo de la Ourthe y sobre los bosques de Arlogne. La Región Valona reúne aquí dos colecciones de referencia: la familia de los sorbos (sorbus) y la familia de las euónimos (euonymus). El arboreto forma parte del Patrimonio Civil Público Valón.
