El castillo de Leignon fue construido entre 1895 y 1900 por el arquitecto Auguste Van Assche. Su apariencia es neogótica con toques 'militares'.
Las habitaciones del castillo están dedicadas a diferentes estilos, siendo una de las piezas destacadas un magnífico comedor en un flamboyante estilo gótico. Esto se evidencia especialmente en la imponente y artísticamente elaborada chimenea o el decorado lambrinado, y en una hermosa biblioteca de estilo art nouveau con trabajos en madera de caoba y lámparas de bronce.
El pasillo del piso está decorado con lienzos pintados que cuentan las historias de los viajes orientales del constructor del castillo.
