Las ruinas del Castillo de Crèvecœur se encuentran en Bouvignes-sur-Meuse, una parte de la ciudad belga de Dinant. El castillo es propiedad de la Región Valona. El recinto de ruinas se puede visitar libremente durante todo el año bajo propio riesgo. Ya a finales del siglo XI, Godofredo de Namur mandó construir una fortaleza en Bouvignes. Su hijo, Enrique el ciego, hizo construir muros gruesos a su alrededor. Las huellas de incendios documentadas arqueológicamente se relacionan con un asedio a Bouvignes en 1188 por el conde Balduino V de Henao. Caballeros de Champagne vinieron a ayudar a los namures en la defensa. En nombre de la condesa Ermesinde, Walram III de Limburgo asedió el castillo en 1214, pero esta vez resistió.
