Peerdsbos -- El Peerdsbos es el bosque de senderismo más antiguo conocido de la provincia de Amberes. En 1935, el dominio fue arrendado a la Ciudad de Amberes por un alquiler simbólico de 1 franco al año y por un período de 99 años, con la condición de que debía abrirse como un lugar recreativo para el gran público. A través del bosque fluye el arroyo Laarse Beek con un gran desnivel (2,8 m en 2 kilómetros) y algunos meandros muy bonitos. El arroyo es lo que quedó del río 'Olme' después de la inundación de Santa Isabel, entre 1376 y 1430, que provocó la formación de los Biesbosch en los Países Bajos.
