Peerdsbos -- Il Peerdsbos è il più antico bosco escursionistico conosciuto della provincia di Anversa. Nel 1935, il dominio fu affittato alla città di Anversa per un canone simbolico di 1 franco all'anno e per la durata di 99 anni, a condizione che fosse aperto al grande pubblico come luogo di ricreazione. Attraverso il bosco scorre il Laarse Beek con un grande dislivello (2,8 m su 2 chilometri) e alcuni bellissimi meandri. Il torrente è ciò che resta del fiume ‘Olme’ dopo la piena di Sant'Elisabetta, tra il 1376 e il 1430, che tra l'altro originò la Biesbosch nei Paesi Bassi.
