Desde marzo de 2018 hasta principios de 2019, se elevaron y renovaron completamente ambos andenes. La NMBS invirtió 1,2 millones de euros en este proyecto. También se instalaron nuevas marquesinas y iluminación LED de bajo consumo.
La estación está conectada a la Red Expres Regional de Bruselas. Actualmente, se detiene un tren S dos veces por hora y por dirección, alternando un tren S3 hacia Zottegem o Dendermonde, y un tren S10 hacia Aalst o Dendermonde, complementado con un par de trenes adicionales en hora punta en la ruta del S3 entre Dendermonde y Bruselas-Sur. Durante la semana, un tren IC se detiene una vez al día en dirección a Dendermonde.
