Aquí en el Castillo de Nokere se encontró el informe de 1634 sobre la condena a muerte de Clara De Vos, la bruja de Nokere. Fue acusada por dos cuñados que le debían dinero y la denunciaron por brujería. Terminó en la hoguera en el centro de Nokere. Puedes ver una estatua de ella justo fuera de los muros del cementerio de Nokere.
