Middenloop Zwalm es una reserva natural reconocida en el valle de Zwalm a lo largo de la Zwalm en las Ardenas flamencas en el sureste de Flandes. La reserva se compone de varias áreas parciales y los bosques de Steenbergse en el territorio de Zottegem, Zwalm y Brakel. El área natural abarca una superficie total de aproximadamente 140 ha de márgenes, praderas y bosques y es gestionada por Natuurpunt, sección de Zwalmvallei. El molino de Boembekemolen y el camino de los mineros se encuentran en el área natural. La reserva está reconocida como un área Natura 2000 europea y forma parte de la Red Ecológica Flamenca.
