El Castillo de Oombergen estaba ubicado en la Calle Cottem en la antigua comuna belga de Oombergen, ahora un distrito de la ciudad de Zottegem en Flandes Oriental. El castillo desaparecido de la familia noble Damman se podía alcanzar a través del camino de tierra aún existente - el antiguo camino del castillo - que se extiende hasta detrás de la iglesia de San Martín de Oombergen, o a través de la Calle Oombergen. La Calle Cottem, que no tiene un nombre oficial, es un camino público moderadamente pavimentado que conduce a Cotthem, un barrio situado entre Oombergen y Sint-Lievens-Houtem.
