Tenhaagdoornheide es el nombre de una reserva natural flamenca que se encuentra entre Houthalen y Houthalen-Oost.
El área, que tiene aproximadamente 360 ha, contiene brezos, bosques y arenas móviles. Tenhaagdoornheide está situada en la meseta de Kempen, y su altitud supera los 75 metros. Aquí se encuentra la zona de origen del Laambeek y el Huttebeek. Allí se formó un pequeño terreno pantanoso, mientras que antes, con la ayuda de canales, diques y compuertas, se aprovechaba el agua para irrigar algunos prados de heno. También hoy en día se puede encontrar la orquídea moteada y la aguja de agua aquí.
