La Grote Ge(k)te es una reserva natural en el Valle de Grote Gete entre Zoutleeuw y Linter. Es un mosaico de bosques de álamo, matorrales de sauce, bosques de aliso y praderas. Pequeños cursos de agua y canales atraviesan el valle. Este hermoso trozo de naturaleza de 210 hectáreas es el hábitat de algunos vecinos especiales y queridos, como el tritón de cresta grande, el martinete, la golondrina común, la espino negro, el musgaño de agua, el murciélago acuático y la caballito del diabolo de pradera. Encontrarás el área de caminata de la Grote Ge(k)te a lo largo de la ruta ciclista "Ijzerenweg" al final de la Dotermontstraat en Linter, entre los puntos de unión ciclista 50 y 58.
