Museo Nacional de la Carta, inaugurado el 24 de octubre de 1969 en la "Casa con torres", número 26 de la calle Begijnen. El 30 de marzo de 1990, el museo reabrió en una nueva ubicación, concretamente en un ala de fábrica vacía de la antigua fábrica de papel y cartas de juego Gebroeders Mesmaekers en la calle Druivenstraat; se prevé una expansión en el Museo Taxandria en la calle Mermans, que ahora se ha trasladado a la restaurada "Casa con torres".
