A la izquierda se encuentran "Los Pozos de Arcilla". Esta área natural de más de 4 hectáreas formaba parte de una mina de arcilla que se extendía más al suroeste. Las capas de arcilla estaban aquí bastante poco profundas para su explotación y procesamiento en ladrillos. La alta chimenea sigue siendo un testigo de esta actividad industrial pasada. Quedó un pozo desolado, amplio y profundo con paredes empinadas en diferentes niveles: la naturaleza pudo comenzar una reclamación. La gestión educativa y de historia natural del área es delineada por los responsables políticos y las asociaciones ambientales locales. En los últimos años, el gobierno de la ciudad compró varios terrenos. En esos terrenos se plantaron árboles que forman un corredor verde con caminos para caminar y un bosque de juegos entre los Pozos de Arcilla y el Bosque Estrellado. Este joven "bosque de periferia" es de libre acceso para los caminantes.
