La Maenhoudthoeve fue construida a mediados del siglo XVII, ¡pero una viga antigua en el tejado del granero lleva incluso el año 1256! La restauración del granero monumental se terminó en 2016. Solo al entrar se siente la grandeza de esta magnífica construcción de madera y piedra, donde entra luz cálida. Un gigante blanco en un hermoso paisaje verde. El escritor Stijn Streuvels se convirtió en fan de inmediato cuando pasó por allí. Al norte del establo de la granja hay un notable dique. Tenía que proteger la granja de inundaciones artificiales desde Ostende. ¡La Maenhoudthoeve es una vivienda privada y no es accesible salvo en ocasiones especiales!
